Celebrating Christmas for the wrong reasons

Are we celebrating christmas coz thats the only time we get major discounts in shopping malls or is it coz its the time to make cakes or is it time for booze. Most of us forget whats the main reason for the season....the sacrifice taken by our God on christmas day. I was seeing GOD TV and was suprised to hear GOD knows each and every plan of our lives he was such a great that he sent his only son to earth so that he'd die on the cross feeling the same pain and emotions that a normal man went thru.

Man...i was like thinking, would we sent our own kid to east timor or saudi arabia to speak the gospel........the answer is "NO". coz we are not willing to give our children knowing the fact that they'll die if they speak the word of GOD. But our God was so kind and merciful that he sent his son knowing the fact he was gonna die for all that we did on the cross. The movie "The Passion of the Christ" actually showed almost the exact incident that happened even thou a bit on the graphic side it might have happened, who knows coz just imagine during those day there was no compassion or favor all they want is to give Jesus a shameful death. He never even wore a piece of cloth across his body. He was bare naked only for the normal ppl they made movies and statues showing him in a drape of cloth that could barely cover his body.

friends Imagine if you saw that look at the amount of shame he went thru.....so this Christmas as we celebrate,i want you to thank GOD for the sacrifice he made for our salvation .....God Bless.
